Registration

2024 Registration

Cheer is offered for children in grades 3-8

  • D - Team : Grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th 
  • A - Team : Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th

Registration Dates

2024 Registration

  • Registration opens on 5/10/24
  • Registration closes 6/23/24
  • We are unable to accept registrations after 6/23/24

Registration Requirements

  • Child must be 8 years old as of 9/1/24, a resident of Essex or Manchester, or attend school in MERSD School District, and entering the 3rd-8th grade in September of 2024. 
  • All NEW cheerleaders will need to provide a copy of their birth certificate in order to cheer. This can be emailed to us.  This is a MYCA requirement. 

Registration Fees

All Cheerleaders = $200

  • Uniforms (vest, skirt, and bow) will be provided to each cheerleader 
  • Uniforms will be returned at the end of the season
  • See the Apparel page for more information on apparel requirements and cost  

Need-Based Scholarships

Jr. Hornets Cheerleading offers need based scholarships. To inquire please email us at mejrhornetscheer@gmail.com
